About the Artist

Hi,
Welcome to my website,
My Name is Denise Farmer
I am the mother of 5 children
and grandmother to 3 Grandkids
I am also a pet lover and have several pets
Including parrots!
I have tried lots of different hobbies over the years, and have always had something on the go!

I have always loved dolls
especially baby dolls
and 3 years ago quite by accident came across a
doll forum, and was amazed that a simple vinyl doll
Could be turned into such a real looking baby!
I learned all i could about the art of reborning
and started on my first doll.
I was so excited and proud at what id achieved
and bought LOTS of vinyl dolls to give the reborn treatment to!
Id seen the wonderful work the sculptors of life-like dolls had achieved and marvelled at their
Artistry!
Never in a million years thinking that I could sculpt! Id never tried anything like it
but took a chance and bought my first block of clay
I loved working with the clay even though my first few babies were a little peculiar to say the least But I was loving it!
so I persevered never gave up promising myself that so long as I was seeing an improvement with each doll I would carry on trying.
All this happened 16th August 2004
I have made several babies since then
and I have still so much to learn
I try my hardest to make a truly lifelike baby
I have a long way to go yet, but hopefully someday in the future
Ill make a baby that looks truly real
I also at some point want to have a silicone version
of one of my sculpts
I am waiting for the right baby to come along first though.

Enjoy looking through my website
contact me for any information
you may need about a particular baby

Kind
Regards
Denise
